Our Story
Arrimo is a new company with a long history.
Evolved from a successful family business that was founded back in 2013, our care-focused consultancy builds on the strong experience and reputation established by its former incarnation.
On holiday in Portugal, our founder, Thomas Mizon, came across the word “Arrimo”, meaning a person who is committed to helping or supporting someone else.
This represents what we try to achieve every day in our business.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Origins
Before Arrimo, there was Realm. A human-centred business consultancy focused on supporting clients in the NHS and public sector to achieve their strategic goals, Realm Partners was a family business that built its success on its distinctive approach and ethos.
As the business grew and diversified, many options were discussed by the family members about whether to continue to grow, to go through a period of succession or even put the business up for sale.
In the end, it was agreed that there was a better option.
This was to take all of the learnings and experience from Realm, and start a new business with a clean slate. The aim was to achieve a strong and resilient foundation for Arrimo to grow and have the ability to scale at pace, something that the previous business did not have all of the tools to achieve.
OUR VISION AND STRATEGY
A business for the future
We have big plans for Arrimo. It’s all there in a carefully thought-out strategy, where we have set out our ambitious growth plans.
We’ll expand our services to encompass value-for-money, bespoke solutions in digital procurement, governance, financial consultancy and HR. We’ll spend more time supporting private sector clients. Buoyed by significant investment and with additional valued members of the team, our vision is to create a ‘business for the future’.
